Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology Clinics “Yasniy Vzor” is a unique medical institution in Russia specializing on pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. It provides diagnostics and treatment of various eye diseases in children and adolescents from 0 to 18 years-old.
“Yasniy Vzor” is equipped with modern ophthalmological instruments, which allow for conducting a full range of computer and electrophysiological studies — from defining the electrical lability and sensitivity of the optic nerve to registering visual potentials of the cerebral cortex.
We use highly effective methods of treatment of various ocular pathologies, based on the latest developments of the leading research institutes in the country and abroad. In addition we implement our own unique, patented therapeutic approaches and surgical methods for the treatment and rehabilitation of children with different types of strabismus and nystagmus, hyperopia, myopia, astigmatism, amblyopia, diseases of the fundus and the optic nerve, obstruction and abnormalities of the tear duct, children cataracts and ocular oncology.
We practice a unique and effective integrated approach in treatment of children with different types of strabismus and nystagmus in which surgical and conservative methods are applied as a single complex treatment, leading to full rehabilitation of 97% of patients with strabismus, while significantly reducing the amplitude of eye movements and improving visual acuity in children with nystagmus.
The leadership of the Association are full members of American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS), International Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Council (IPOSC), European Pediatric Ophthalmology Society (EPOS), European Strabismological Association (ESA).
