International Congenital Corneal Opacity Network
WSPOS in conjunction with the Pediatric Keratoplasty Association (Drs. Ken Nischal & Gerald Zaidman respectively) conducted a Focus Group Meeting during the WCPOS V, 2024 to initiate the establishment of the International Congenital Corneal Opacification Network (ICCON). We had 50 people participate in the focus group session, both in-person & virtually.
The International Congenital Corneal Opacification Network (ICCON) will establish a network of interested individuals in eye health care who are willing to either advise, manage or operate on children with congenital corneal opacities throughout the world.Â
By registering below, we will be able to communicate with you about the evolution of the network & opportunities to participate.
Moreover, the World Society of Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (WSPOS) and the Pediatric Keratoplasty Association (PKA), will introduce the International Congenital Corneal Opacification Network (ICCON) during the IX World Cornea Congress in Washington, DC.Â
